Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, provide patient/family education, and support transitions of care. The RN will work within the Nursing Practice Model, lead quality initiatives, and mentor colleagues.

State licensure and BLS are required; TN sponsorship may apply for eligible candidates. Role includes 8-hour day/evening rotations, full-time schedule, and competitive compensation with education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Student or Graduate of a nursing program.
• RN start date after Apr 1, 2020 must have BSN within five years.
• RN start date before Apr 1, 2020 must provide BSN evidence.
• One year of RN experience or Mayo Clinic LPN experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care and education.
• Lead within Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model: plan, implement, evaluate care.
• Mentor, teach, and participate on committees; may drive personal vehicle as needed.
