Live Well Homecare in Florida seeks a dedicated registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within a supportive home-health environment. The role emphasizes the nursing process and confidentiality while coordinating care with other departments to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) or within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 7a-7p).
• Manage multisystem conditions (e.g., heart failure, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes).
• Coordinate care for procedures (cath lab, angiography, dialysis, infusion, chemo, anticoagulation).
• Participate in a year-long Nurse Residency Program for new grads and select experienced nurses.

Key duties:

• Provide patient care during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 7a-7p) following orientation.
• Manage patients with multisystem conditions such as heart failure, respiratory distress, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes, and gastrointestinal issues.
• Coordinate care for procedures like cath lab, angiography, dialysis, infusion, chemo, and anticoagulation therapies.
• Participate in a year-long Nurse Residency Program for new graduates and selected experienced nurses.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical duties required for patient care.
