Job summary

Wyandot Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the ICU team in a full-time role. The primary shift is 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, with a mix of 12- and 8-hour shifts and every third weekend/holiday rotation.

A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for this ICU RN position. Qualified candidates hold an Ohio RN license, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, and have 2+ years of critical care or ED experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Ohio RN license required
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Two or more years of hospital critical care and/or ED experience preferred
• Knowledge of ventilator management and invasive procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients.
• Assess patient needs, plan and coordinate individualized care, and evaluate treatment outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.

The Registered Nurse position is part of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is a full-time role working 72 hours per two-week pay period. The primary shift is 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, with a combination of 12- and 8-hour shifts as needed. This position includes every third weekend and holiday rotation. The RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring safety, collaboration, and professionalism across all aspects of patient treatment. We’re excited to offer a $6,000 sign-on bonus for this position.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Ohio RN license required ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required Two or more years of hospital critical care and/or emergency department experience preferred Ability to recognize and interpret electrocardiographic information Knowledge and experience managing ventilator patients Skilled in assisting with invasive procedures and setting up necessary equipment Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong communication skills Independent thinker with a commitment to teamwork, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service
