Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This full-time role covers day shifts including weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) from 7a-7p, delivering direct patient care using the nursing process within hospital standards.

Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, patient education, and coordinating care across disciplines. Requirements: RN license and BLS; 1 year experience preferred; Handle with Care preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• One year of experience preferred
• Handle with Care certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
