Job summary

Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern California in Rancho Mirage, CA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position to join a world-class team focused on service excellence and intensive rehabilitative care.

The RN provides professional nursing care, conducts assessments, plans, intervenes and evaluates progress, and works closely with physicians and therapists to prevent complications and restore function.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit.
• Perform patient assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations.
• Coordinate with physicians and therapists to prevent complications and maximize function.
• Uphold the hospital’s mission and guiding principles in daily practice.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. The role is also responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered life style.
