Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing opportunity to support underserved communities. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care across the nursing process and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Each 10-hour shift offers 40 hours per week with competitive weekly pay, stipends, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Contract extensions or placements at other sites are possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Unencumbered RN license in practicing state; multistate licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver personalized patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care strategies.
• Provide care across all phases—from preventive services and health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate patient assessments, education, triage, and nursing interventions.
• Practice within state licensure standards and ANA Code of Ethics.

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience and six months of travel nursing experience.
• Ability to meet department-specific competencies and certifications.
