Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN at the Mercy Orthopedic Hospital Ozark/Springfield in Missouri. This full-time role involves assessing patients referred by physicians to ensure appropriateness, reviewing medical histories and required clearances, and educating patients on procedures and medications.

You will perform duties aligned with Mercy's mission and service standards. The position requires an active RN license in Missouri (or a compact state) and BLS certification; full-time onsite work

Qualifications

• RN degree from a nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure.
• BLS certification via American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

MINIMUM Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure:

• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
