Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship seeks a dedicated registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU, applying the nursing process and upholding Mercy standards.

You will coordinate patient care with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and stay professionally accountable for quality care, guided by mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with AD, diploma, or BSN.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or with compact recognition.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, ENPC, C-EFM or other unit certifications may be required.

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
• Other unit-specific certifications as required.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
