Job summary

The Kintock Group in Newark, NJ is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, adhering to PA/NJ State Licensing standards while maintaining security requirements.

You will perform intake screenings, document care appropriately, and coordinate with Nurse Practitioner/Physician and site administrators. A NJ/PA LPN license and CPR certification are required, with 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Requirements

• Maintain professional boundaries with residents at all times.
• Perform intake screenings under the direction of Nurse Practitioner/Physician
• Passes medication in compliance with all PA/NJ State Regulations
• Maintains a good working relationship with other medical staff and Site Administrators
• Responsible for the shift report, including counts
• Follows all requirements for documentation.
• Required to perform all assigned ACA related duties
• Required to attend ACA and other assigned or mandatory training classes in accordance with Kintock training policies
• Perform other work related duties as assigned by the Nurse Practitioner/Physician.
