Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center, flagship hospital of Methodist Health System, seeks an experienced registered nurse for night shift to provide high-level care across ICU and ER units. The role involves direct and indirect nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, with supervision of essential team members.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in Texas (or eligibility), BLS and ACLS certifications, BSN preferred, and a minimum of two years ICU/ER RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS).
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: at least two years ICU and ER RN experience.

Job Description

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Job Requirements
