Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a registered nurse to provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients, using the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires BSN preferred, current BLS/ACLS, Texas RN license, and a minimum of two years RN experience; CCU/ER experience strongly preferred. The hospital is Magnet-designated and highly regarded for patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• Texas RN license or eligibility to practice.

• Willingness to supervise others and collaborate with the team.

Job Description

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least two years RN experience
• Critical Care and ER RN experience strongly preferred
