Job summary

Angel Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care unit for Acute Care. The 30-bed unit cares for step-down, med-surg, and swing patients, focusing on patient-family relationships and high-quality care.

You will lead care delivery, using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, and ensure documentation and teaching for patients and families. NC RN licensure, BLS, and 1+ year hospital experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or BSN required.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina; eNLC license may apply; must obtain RN license within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to facilitate delivery of professional nursing care for patients and families.
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching.
• Implements medically prescribed interventions.
• Collaborates with the unit team on Progressive Care duties and patient care continuity.
