Job summary

Angel Medical Center in Franklin, North Carolina, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Progressive Care unit. The 30-bed unit serves step-down, med-surg, and swing patients, emphasizing teamwork and strong patient-family relationships.

You will lead nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and educate patients and families. Requirements include ADN or BSN, NC RN license (eNLC may apply), BLS, and 1 year hospital nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate‘s Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON. RN must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Experience: One year hospital nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
