Job summary

AdvisaCare seeks dedicated registered nurses to provide one-on-one home health care to Medicare beneficiaries, supporting recovery and independence in the patient’s own home.

You’ll perform wound care, blood draws, and manage devices, assess safety, coordinate with physicians and families, and ensure compassionate, goal‑oriented care with strong clinical skills. Michigan RN license and valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan
• Driver's license in Michigan with proof of insurance
• CPR certification required
• OASIS experience preferred
• 1 year home health experience preferred; ER/ICU experience a plus
• Strong critical thinking and task skills
• Computer skills required in daily workflows

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient disease processes at home
• Dress wounds and perform skilled treatments
• Draw blood; manage drains, catheters, PICCs, ostomies
• Evaluate home safety and patient needs
• Support medication and disease management
• Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, therapists, and families
• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure continuity of care

Our Skilled Nursing team provides intermittent care to Medicare beneficiaries in their homes—often after an inpatient stay for illness or surgery.

You’ll help patients recover their independence and feel confident managing life at home.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Help patients understand and manage their disease process
• Dress wounds and provide skilled treatments
• Draw blood and manage drains, catheters, PICCs, and ostomies

• Coordinate care with physicians, providers, caregivers, therapists, and families
