Job summary

AdvisaCare is hiring skilled Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide in-home care in Greater Muskegon and surrounding areas. The role covers OASIS-focused home health tasks and requires travel within about a 30-mile radius from your home.

Full-time or part-time options available. Ideal candidates are dynamic, organized, and compassionate, with a patient-centered approach and willingness to collaborate with the Home Health Team.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN or LPN license.
• 1 year Home Health experience preferred.
• TB test within date and CPR certification required.
• Able to travel within ~30 mile radius from home.
• Clear Criminal History/Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the home health setting.
• Conduct one-on-one patient education with patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate with Home Health Team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.

AdvisaCare is a fast-paced, established Home Health / Medicare Agency seeking FULL TIME or PART TIME Skilled Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse )LPN) to provide care and service to our patients in Greater Muskegon and surrounding areas with our Parent Agency located in Portage, MI. Counties covered include: Ottawa, Muskegon, Oceana and Mason.

OASIS Experienced Registered Nurse preferred! But Not Required.....

With your Nursing Knowledge and Task Skills, every day is new and different. We make a real difference in the health and safety of our patients. Wound Care, including Wound Vacs, Drains, Tubes, All Ostomies, Traches, Catheters, Plurex drains, Infusions and even LVADs. We will train you to bring your skills up to par as needed.

Getting to know your patients, doing one on one education with them and their caregivers, coordination with all of the members of the Home Health Team - it's a holistic and patient driven approach that we just don't see in facilities.

Oasis training available for an exceptional candidate with the right skill set

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Minimum one (1) year of Home Health nursing experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care to and communicate with all ages of the population
• Updated Tuberculin (TB) test and current CPR certification required
• Clear Criminal History/Drug Screen
• Compassionate and caring demeanor, with a professional presentation at all times
• Ability to travel within service area of AdvisaCare (approximately a 30 mile radius from your home)
• Critical thinking, task competence and the ability to think on your feet is needed.
