Job summary

Holland Hospital in Michigan is seeking a part-time registered nurse for night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am), working Fridays and Saturdays. Applicants must graduate from an accredited RN program and hold a Michigan RN license or complete licensure by orientation end.

A current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. This role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and an hourly pay range of $34.00 to $49.18, with an additional $1/hr float team incentive.

Pay Range:

$34.00 - $49.18/hour (float team incentive is an extra $1/hr!)

Employment Type:

Part Time, 48 hours every 2 weeks

Schedule:

7pm to 7:30am, Friday and Saturday nights.

Requirements:

Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing Program required, Current Michigan RN License (or completed by end of orientation) required, Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider (or completed within 60 days of hire) required.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Certification in specialty area (CCRN, CRN, CNOR, CEN, etc) preferred

• Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred

• 2 years prior RN experience in desired specialty area preferred

• Prior experience with electronic patient documentation system preferred

• Prior experience with technology common to specialty area (i.e., cardiac monitors, IV pumps) preferred

• Bilingual preferred

NURSING PROCESS:

Demonstrates ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze assessment data to determine the pertinent diagnosis or issues. PATIENT EDUCATION:

• Demonstrates ability to optimize patient learning through evaluating a patient’s learning abilities and carrying out the education of the patient.

-For ICU/TU, Cardiac Cath Lab, Emergency, PACU, Surgery Center, Endoscopy, Spine/Orthopedics, Float Pool:ACLS Certification or completed within one year of hire.

-For Emergency, 5 West, PACU, Surgery Center: PALS certification or completed within one year of hire.

-For Birth Center:NRP Certification or completed within one year of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation required.
