AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool, Part Time Days. The role requires the ability to float to ED, ICU, PCU and MSU, with a $5.00 float pool differential. Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• RN license/certification required.
• BLS/CPR required.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
