AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift to provide comprehensive nursing care in a hospital setting. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered and benefits begin from Day One.

The role focuses on assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, medication administration, patient education, and collaborative care coordination with the medical team. A strong English proficiency and nursing licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN licensure required; BLS certification required; various advanced certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and continually evaluate and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and ancillary departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.

Job Description:

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000.00

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.

Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.

Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
