Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time day shift. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, following established nursing models to ensure safe outcomes.

Qualifications include an active RN license, an Associate Degree, and timely completion of ACLS, CPR, and Crisis Intervention training.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
• Associate Degree required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department standards.
• Collaborates with medical providers and care teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
