Job summary

Reston Hospital Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool, Day shift. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, and will support physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure, an Associate Degree, ACLS and BLS within 30 days, and at least 2 years of medical/surgical experience. This position offers comprehensive benefits and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN with at least 2 years of medical/surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with the care team.
• Work with medical providers to support patient outcomes and safe care delivery.
• Serve as an advocate for patients and families within the unit and hospital.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Float Pool - Medical- Surgical- PCU
• Must have at least 2 years of medical/surgical experience
• Day position - Full-time
