Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for its float pool. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across departments, collaborating with medical teams and leaders to support safe patient outcomes.

Required qualifications include RN licensure, Associate Degree, ACLS and BLS/CPR within specified timelines, and at least 2 years of medical/surgical experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• RN – Registered Nurse credential/licensure required.
• Associate Degree required.
• BCLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department standards.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care teams to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients, families and caregivers and support nursing initiatives.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
