Job summary

Powers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Nursing Float to work days or nights at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. The nurse will implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process while maintaining a safe environment and adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and CHS policies.

Candidates should have a nursing degree and Indiana RN licensure, with 2 years IMCU experience; ACLS and CPR certifications are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 2 years of IMCU nursing experience.
• Current RN license in Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS certification as required in specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.

• Obtains and maintains current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care).
• Obtains and maintains current CPR.
