Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care across two Southwest Riverside County facilities, Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals in Murrieta, CA. The RN will float between sites as needed, ensuring care continuity and adherence to hospital policies.

Requirements include CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification, and an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred for career advancement within UHS.

Qualifications

• One year ICU experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care in ICU units.
• Assess, treat, and plan care across the continuum, including pain management and equipment.
• Float between Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals as needed to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

This position provides the opportunity to work at both of our world class facilities in the ICU Departments. This position qualifies for increased compensation.

Southwest HealthcareRancho Springs Hospital inMurrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children's emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children's.

Southwest HealthcareInland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month.The hospitalfeatures a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region's only Total Joint Center.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals' Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Employees will be required to float between facilities within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
