Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night float pool. The RN coordinates patient care, collaborates with the care team, and applies nursing models to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Requires Associate Degree and RN license; ACLS within 30 days, NVCI within 60 days, and at least 2 years med/surg experience. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

• NVCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) within 60 days.
• Minimum 2 years medical/surgical experience.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• full-time night float pool position
• Must have at least 2 year of medical/surgical experience
