Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for a full-time night position with rotating weekends. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers, following established standards and the nursing model.

Requirements include an RN license, ADN/ASN, and at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.

Qualifications

• RN with Labor & Delivery experience.
• Associate Degree required (Nursing).
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of start date.
• Neonate resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in Labor & Delivery.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to ensure safe, evidence-based practices.
• Provide advocacy for patients and families while maintaining department standards.

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Associate Degree

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• full-time NIGHT position with rotating weekends

• Must have at least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
