Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to provide direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge. You will review and document care, outcomes, and evaluations to maintain high-quality patient care.

Requirements include ADN, Kentucky RN license, ACLS/BLS within specified timelines, NIHSS and PALS within 6 months, and Crisis Prevention certification. Preferred BSN and recent specialty experience.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
