Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role with a weekend option in Michigan. The nurse will provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients within the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care framework.

Qualifications include MI RN license, BLS certification, and preferred Labor & Delivery experience. The organization emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care and community impact.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 60 days of hire date.
• BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association obtained within 90 days of hire date or job transfer date, or Certified Instructor.
• 2 years - Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Graduation from an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services.
• Demonstrate clinical competence, compassion, and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes; and cost-consciousness in care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care provided to patients.

• Schedule:Full-time - Weekend Option,7am-7:30pm Monday thru Friday;Weekendhours are defined as 3:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday.The 3rd day will be based on the needs of the department.All qualified hours on the weekend are eligible for a $15/hour weekend premium.

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes; and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or transfer date required.
• Certified BLS provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained with 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or, Certified Instructor.
• 2 years - Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Education: Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
