Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
- Strong analytic abilities and problem-solving.
- Maintains active driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of employment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and record patient status and care needs on admission.
- Organize health data so it is accurate and accessible.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care.
- Document diagnoses and plan of care.
- Develop discharge plans with patient/family and health team.
