Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd is seeking an experienced registered nurse for full-time, part-time, or PRN vacancies across day and night shifts, with 36 hours per week. Nurses provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, evidence-based practice and strong collaboration with the care team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure in the applicable state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Engages in quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
