Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid State of Florida Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience with medication administration in a skilled nursing facility.
• Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook and Word.
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of the employment screening process including a background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer ordered treatments and prescribed medications.
• Transcribe physician orders to appropriate documents.
• Make rounds with physicians and other health care personnel.
• Monitor and follow up on resident conditions and orders.
• Notify supervisor, physician and family of notable changes.
• Record observations accurately and concisely.
• Supervise CNAs on assigned unit as required.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
