Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Nurse certification (ACNP) recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS healthcare provider certifications required.
• Clinical certifications in area of supervision preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Lead and support the healthcare team with patient-centered care.
• Coordinate care with supervising physician under supervision.
• Educate patients and families and advocate for referrals.
• Adhere to Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital nursing standards.
