Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our clinical team for 30 hours per week. The schedule includes two 12-hour day shifts (6am–6:30pm) with rotating weekends, providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

You will administer medications per policy, document care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support the patient's plan of care. ADN required; BSN preferred; RN license required with CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS as per unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• Licensed as an RN in state of practice. CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days. ACLS, PALS per unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policies, standards and laws.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care, including patient/family instruction.
• Participates in department/unit performance improvement and peer review processes.
• Supports longitudinal plan of care across units and escalates safety concerns as needed.
