Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Flex Team at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, Massachusetts. The Flex RN will support nursing care across MedSurg, the Emergency Department, Perioperative Services, and Rehab, collaborating with experienced teams to provide patient-centered care.

This role offers variety, opportunities to grow within a community hospital, and the chance to work nights on a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. shift with broad exposure across departments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma in Nursing and MA RN license.
• Experience across MedSurg, ED, and perioperative areas preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Commitment to patient advocacy and education.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care across MedSurg, Emergency Department, Perioperative Services, and Rehab.
• Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to coordinate safe, effective patient care.
• Advocate for patients and families through communication, education, support, and care transitions.

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
