Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a First Assistant (RNFA) to collaborate with surgeons in the perioperative setting and provide intraoperative care in the operating room. This role involves preoperative assessments, data analysis for nursing diagnoses, and clear communication of patient outcomes throughout the perioperative process.

The RNFA will be a key member of the surgical team, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and efficiency, while monitoring responses and adjusting plans.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ADN required.
• 2–5 years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Current RN license and CNOR or Certified First Assistant certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• CNOR or Cert Nurse OR credentials are favorable.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures as RNFA.
• Deliver intraoperative patient care and preoperative assessments.
• Analyze patient data to identify nursing diagnoses.
• Communicate patient outcomes throughout the perioperative process.
• Administer medications and develop individualized care plans.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Job description
