Qualifications

• Prioritize and complete routine assignments within guidelines and schedules.
• Recognize psychosocial needs and provide emotional support.
• Maintain accurate records on all patients in the unit.
• Identify and report real or potential problems regarding patient care.
• Maintain inventory of medications, equipment, and supplies.
• Record, report, and interpret patient responses to treatment and care.
• Identify and assess changes in patient conditions and report to Charge Nurse/Supervisor.

What You'll Do

• Establish nursing care plans utilizing nursing diagnosis in cooperation with the supervisor.
• Implement plans of care for residents.
• Prioritize and complete routine assignments within guidelines and schedules.
• Recognize psychosocial needs and provide emotional support.

• Maintain adequate inventory of medications, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements

Education:

• Completion of an approved RN program.

Experience:

• Long-term care facility experience preferred.
• Prior work experience with geriatric and disabled populations preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position required.
• CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.
