What You’ll Do

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.

Requirements

Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred.

Experience: 6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in NJ required by date of hire. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
