- Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours/week, rotating weekends
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care while maintaining high standards of nursing practice, safety, and quality.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and support outpatient procedures.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, and health management.
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, obtain blood samples, and provide other nursing interventions as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, Medical Assistants, and other members of the care team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Follow infection prevention protocols and promote a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Support a positive patient experience through compassionate communication and clinical excellence.
Requirements
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical nursing experience required
- Prior experience in urgent care, emergency department, or ambulatory/outpatient settings strongly preferred
- Experience with blood draws and IV placement preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
