Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BCLS, ACLS or PALS, required.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates plan of care.
• Systematically assesses patient's knowledge and health through interviews and exams.
• Consults with multidisciplinary health care team on nursing assessment findings.
• Communicates changes in patient status to care team and other providers.
• Documents patient care and plan of care on charts.
• Provides patient education.
