Job summary

Duke University Health System in Durham, NC seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care per physician orders, supervise the care team, and ensure a safe, high‑quality patient environment. The role requires NC RN licensure, a BSN/ADN or diploma, and BLS, with at least 1 year of bedside nursing experience.

This position includes leadership duties as assigned and opportunities for ongoing professional development within a supportive, collaborative team.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides care for more than 1000 infants each year from the Southeast and worldwide, including extremely low birth weight infants and complex congenital conditions.

Schedule:

• Full Time: 3 12-hour shifts per week, rotating between 7 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Minimum of 2–4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
