Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring an RN for the Adult Psychiatry unit at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This full-time evening shift (3:00-11:30pm) position includes rotating weekends/holidays and requires IL licensure and a BSN is preferred.

Qualified applicants have NLN-accredited nursing education and BLS/CPR certification. The role emphasizes independent nursing care, collaboration with the care team, and contributing to high safety and patient satisfaction.

• BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care on the unit.
• Apply nursing process to patient care plans.
• Supervise and direct unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Communicate with healthcare team for patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will need

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR Certifications ; American Heart Association
• Experience: Adult Psychiatry Experience preferred

What you will do

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
