Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Douglas, AZ. The role covers day and night shifts on a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour guaranteed schedule.

You will apply the Nursing Process to ED patients, exercise leadership, and ensure safe, high-quality care with strong teamwork. Required are ER RN experience (2+ years) and certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC; NRP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC certifications are required.
• NRP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient needs.

Position Information:

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
