Description

The registered nurse assumes principal responsibility for total care of assigned clients in the respective unit.

Responsibilities

1. Assessment, reassessment, establishment of nursing diagnoses, formulation of the written plan of care, implementation of care, and evaluation of care.
2. Initiate health care training and education to the client/family, supporting the goals of Andalusia Health and the Department of Nursing.
3. Provide leadership and direction to team members, maintaining optimal standards of nursing care.
4. Supervise licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel.
5. Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous nursing coverage.
6. Provide age-specific and diagnosis-specific care to all patient populations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Associate's degree required.
