Job summary

Baptist Health Downtown Jacksonville is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy Team in the Downtown/Main Building. This RN will provide direct patient care, support high-acuity endoscopy patients, and collaborate with ancillary services to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

Requirements include an active Florida RN license, ASN, BLS, and preferred BSN and ACLS. This role is a PRN/as-needed position based in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; active Florida RN license.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• BLS is required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Care for higher-acuity or endoscopy patients as needed.
• Coordinate and supervise care by supportive personnel.
• Coordinate with ancillary services to ensure safe outcomes.
• Involve patients and families in developing care plans.
• Educate patients and families about diseases, procedures, and plans.
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and satisfaction.
