Job summary

IntelliResume seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a per diem Day shift at Hackensack Meridian Health in Manahawkin, NJ. The role focuses on direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of nursing experience, NJ RN license, BLS/CPR, and willingness to pursue BSN within three years. Telemetry/ED/critical care experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years.
• Six or more months of nursing experience required.
• 2 years telemetry/ED/critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Endoscopy or Procedural experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
