Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular & Surgical Stepdown unit in Neptune, NJ, working per diem nights. The role focuses on evidence-based care and collaborative communication with the health‑care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include med administration with bar‑scanning tech, electronic documentation, patient and family education, and coordination of safe discharges with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• 1 year telemetry or critical care nursing experience.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS/Telemetry certification and national certification preferred.

Requirements

• Education: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required; BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of telemetry or critical care nursing experience required
• Licenses & Certifications: BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire; ACLS preferred; Telemetry certification preferred; National certification preferred
