Southern New Hampshire Health’s Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse to provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.

You will assess needs, support patients, and stay current on the latest endoscopic techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required.
• Valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact State RN license required at time of hire; NH license within 90 days if Compact.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS within 3 months of hire.

• Preparing and positioning patients for endoscopy procedures.
• Monitoring patient condition during and after the procedure.
• Administering medications as needed throughout the procedure.

The Endoscopy department at Elliot Hospital is committed to providing excellent care and comfort while ensuring the safety of its patients.

About the Job:

As an endoscopy nurse, you'll be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients during their endoscopic procedures. You will need to assess the patient's needs and provide support before, during, and after the procedure. Additionally, you will be required to maintain a thorough knowledge of all the latest medical procedures and equipment used in endoscopic practices. Daily, you will be helping patients navigate their endoscopy procedure, providing emotional support and assisting with any post-procedure education or care that may be needed.
