Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for Endoscopy. This full-time role covers 4-10 hour shifts with rotating days, including some weekend calls, and is located in the Endoscopy area serving Southern Indiana/Louisville.

The RN is responsible for direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, in a setting that includes endoscopy suites, the operating room, and ICU space. ACLS preparedness within 12 months is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma RN
• Current Indiana or compact state RN license
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required
• ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
• Provide endoscopy suite nursing care, including pre- and post-procedure care.

Job Description: Seeking Registered Nurse! Full-time, 4-10-hour shifts - rotating days, Monday- Friday, 5:30a-5:00p, will take call

Baptist Health Floyd, Endoscopy - Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.

Endoscopy features 4 total procedure rooms and 14 pre and post-operative procedure rooms. Endoscopy provides inpatient and outpatient services and performs procedures within the endoscopy suite, operating room, and ICU space. Some of the common procedures include EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy), bronchoscopy, and colonoscopy.
