Qualifications

Charlotte Surgery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse Endoscopy Circulator

Charlotte Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to providing high-quality care and a positive experience for patients and their families.

We are seeking a team-oriented RN to join our Gastroenterology department. Ideal candidates will have good energy, enjoy customer service, and work well with minimal supervision. We invite interested candidates to visit us.

Responsibilities:
  1. Adhere to the policies of the Center and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
  2. Follow standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for non-acutely ill patients according to accepted standards.
  3. Understand the unique needs of each age group within the patient population.
  4. Follow OSHA and other safety standards to protect against bloodborne pathogens.
  5. Use proper body mechanics.
  6. Remain calm and function effectively as a team member during stress and crisis situations.
  7. Take vital signs, use V/S monitors, and document appropriately.
  8. Follow employee health, personnel, and staffing policies.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Previous GI experience is REQUIRED.
  • Experience assisting physicians in the procedure room as a nurse is required.
  • Current RN license in Florida.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
  • Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
