We are looking to add an RN who is a team player to our Gastroenterology department. We need someone with good energy, enjoys customer service, and performs well with minimal supervision. If this is you, we encourage you to visit us.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Center policies and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
• Follow standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for non-acutely ill patients according to accepted standards.
• Understand the unique needs of each age group of the patient population.
• Follow OSHA and other standards for protection against blood-borne pathogens.
• Use good body mechanics.
• Remain calm and function as a team member during stress and crisis situations.
• Take vital signs and apply V/S monitors, documenting appropriately.
• Follow employee health and staffing policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous GI experience is a MUST.
• Experience assisting physicians in the procedure room is required.
• Current RN license in Florida.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
