Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy department. The role involves providing perioperative care for adult and pediatric cases with a focus on endoscopy procedures, pre-op, intra-op, and post-op management.

Schedule is 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) with 4 (10) hour shifts weekly; shift times typically 0700 to 1730, with potential changes based on procedure scheduling. A sign-on bonus of $7k is offered for full-time new hires.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN).
• Experience: 1+ years Endoscopy experience or 2+ years Critical Care experience (ED, SICU, MICU, TELE) required. Will also consider an RN with 3-4 years Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice, BLS is required.

The Boise Endoscopy Department sees all adult and pediatric cases for multiple types of procedures. Our downtown campus is the Advance Center for ERCP and EUS, EBUS procedures for the St Luke system in the Treasure Valley. Along with these procedures we are also experienced in Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGDs both urgent and emergent cases as well as elective cases. Our nurses are well rounded providing care in pre-op, Intra-op and post-op management.

Sign On Bonus:

$7k for full time (new hires)

Schedule:

Call required:

Minimal call for weekends, holidays and rarely overnight. Back up call is required as well. Back-up call is 2 weekend days every 12-16 weeks. Shifts (0700-1930). Call response time is 30 minutes.
